History

The foundations of the transport activities of Tanktransport Peeters were laid more than half a century ago. Tanktransport Peeters started in 1948 as a family business next to the canal in Arendonk. The company originally specialized in the transportation of charcoal and fertilizers but changed its activities to gravel and sand in the sixties due to a decreasing demand of the fossil fuels.

The year 1978 was decisive for the current activities. Tanktransport Peeters started to specialize in the transportation of sulphuric acid. An increasing experience was marked by professionalism and specialization of activities in the years that followed. Investments in personnel, training and equipment were made to meet the strict industry standards.

Because the demand for its transport activities increased, Tanktransport Peeters grew and the original location was no longer efficient. In 1999 the business moved to the industrial estate of Arendonk, where a professional and functional business premises was build. On the industrial site you will find the offices, the workshop and the cleaning station for internal and external cleanings.
